The ActewAGL Joint Venture (AAJV) has announced the formal appointment of Ray Hezkial to the role of Chief Executive Officer, following a competitive and extensive market search.

Ray is a strategic, people-focused leader with a background in engineering and infrastructure delivery, predominantly in the utilities sector. He has more than twenty years’ experience serving the Canberra community, having joined Icon Water in 2003 where he progressed through a range of leadership roles before becoming Managing Director in 2018.

“With his unique experience and demonstrated ability to lead through change, Ray is well placed to guide the AAJV through the next phase of the ACT’s energy transition, and is already deeply involved in key strategic priorities given his interim role”, said Mr David Gillespie, ActewAGL Board Chair.
