Damien Nicks

Mr Nicks is Deputy Chair of the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board. He was appointed to the ActewAGL Board by the AGL Partners in May 2018 and is also a member of the ActewAGL Safety, Audit and Risk Committee.

Mr Nicks joined AGL in 2013 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2023. He has held a number of senior executive finance roles at AGL in Retail Energy, Merchant Energy, Group Commercial and Corporate.

Mr Nicks has more than 25 years of international and local experience across large multinational businesses including Linfox Logistics, Smorgon Steel, Cantor Fitzgerald and Deloitte in senior finance, commercial and operational roles.

Mr Nicks holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from La Trobe University, is a fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
